Does your organisation need to share its narrative more compellingly?
Do you want to build your skills in telling the story of the impact your organization has in the lives of clients?
How can you tell your story in a way that will attract new clients and partners?

Elizabeth Gowing runs regular webinars and face-to-face training and provides one-to-one support and consulting for organizations wanting to build their staff's skills in telling the story of the work they do.

This support is for anyone writing for social media or the web, newsletters, case studies, TED talks or other presentations. It particularly uses research on how to share stories in ways that leverage support.

Objectives: At the end of this program, participants will be equipped to:

  • Tell the story of their work using techniques such as attention grabbing, going ‘down the concrete ladder’, using the senses, direct speech and testimonials, ‘showing not telling’;
  • Shape a story effectively;
  • Use ‘the Hero’s Journey’ as a compelling structure for reflecting on and sharing their organizational values and achievements;
