Interviews

This week I used an interview with my students at the University of Tirana. I had students work in pairs to prepare and role-play an interview using the present perfect. Student A was supposed to be a famous person (Most of them chose to be sports stars), while student B was the interviewer. I think, the interview was a successful task not only because it made students practice present perfect “bragging” about their achievements in the area where they were “famous”, but it also enabled them enjoy the status of a famous person (even though for a short time).
