Founded in 1997, the Abraham Lincoln Foundation of Albania (our legal name) began with a simple but ambitious goal: to be the most trusted learning organization in the country.
What started as a small language school has grown into a leading educational institution serving children, adults, and professionals across Albania with more than 99,000 learners who have earned certified proficiency in English and other subjects.

— Providing Opportunities
Guided by Christian values and a spirit of service, we opened the first Lincoln Center in Tirana in September 1997. Within months, hundreds of students enrolled, and Lincoln quickly became known for its integrity and excellence.
As the organization grew, so did its reach. From humble beginnings on Rruga Qemal Stafa to multiple centers serving the community, Lincoln’s mission has remained the same: to equip individuals and organizations to reach their fullest potential.

As a self-sustaining nonprofit organization under the name Abraham Lincoln Foundation of Albania, Lincoln generates most of its income from its programs and services, allowing us to keep tuition affordable and accessible.
Lincoln annually receives charitable donations and gifts from partners who are interested in seeing Albanians thrive. Their support helps with scholarships and special projects. This model allows us to pursue our mission with independence, stability, and integrity.
Lincoln is governed by an independent volunteer Board of Directors with no financial interest in the organization. Board members receive no compensation and serve solely to ensure faithful stewardship and accountability.
At Lincoln, we measure success one student at a time. Every certificate, every lesson, and every partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to the simple idea that started it all—“The training you need, from the people you trust.”
