She is taking a speaking class, why not me?
This is what I have heard the recent weeks in the counseling sessions. Something that I hadn’t realized during this semester was the competing spirit of my students.
Another thing that I noticed was the desire of not breaking the group. Some are taking the RLS class in order to be with the same classmates. Once I said that one classmate will take the class, the others wanted the same. They all wanted to benefit in one way or the other.
What about your students? What is driving them to enroll in our classes?
