Bill Gates: Teachers Need Real Feedback

by | 04.14.2014

“Good. You’re doing a good job.”

When’s the last time you’ve gotten feedback as a teacher?

It’s always good to get a pat on the back, but if that’s all you get term after term and year after year, you may start wondering, “How am I really doing?” In fact, I’ve even asked administrators in the past, “Could you give me more specific feedback as to how I can better serve our students?”

Are you asking how you can get real feedback? Then check out Bill Gates’ TED talk titled “Teachers Need Real Feedback.” Scroll down and watch talk number 4.

And if you like this TED talk, check out TEDx in Tirana on May 3.

Here’s my question for you: What’s your preferred method of getting real feedback?
